Representative Phil Covarrubias was born and raised in Arvada, CO. After graduating Arvada High School, Representative Covarrubias decided to defend our values and our Constitution by joining the Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged from the Marines in 1990, Representative Covarrubias helped his father build his construction company, CCSI, which now competes for major projects across the Front Range. Life lead him to Xcel Energy, where he worked as a foreman. Representative Covarrubias currently lives in Brighton, Colorado, with his two children, Nicholas, 13, and Erik, 11, where he served as a Commissioner on the Planning Commission since 2014. Representative Covarrubias is now serving in the state legislature and defending the values of hard working Americans everywhere.
