Representative Cole Wist is a long time resident of District 37, living in the Homestead neighborhood of Centennial since 1997. He and his wife, Susan, have three daughters: Connor, Abby and Halle.
The son of a coal miner, Representative Wist grew up on the Western Slope in the small town of Paonia and has deep Colorado roots. He attended the University of Denver and Georgetown University Law Center.
Representative Wist is one of the Rocky Mountain region’s leading attorneys in the area of workplace safety and health law. Primarily representing mining and oil and gas clients, he consistently leads the charge against excessive regulation and over-reaching by state and federal governments.
